Providence College School of Business Introduces First Micro MBA Certificate Program in Rhode Island

Providence, R.I. – Providence College School of Business (PCSB) announced today a first -of-its-kind business program in Rhode Island – the Micro MBA Certificate. This nine-part program is designed to help professionals master the transition to administrator/manager in their respective fields including health care, education, public and military service, and nonprofit. The goal is to assist in shifting professionals from a service focus to an administrator mindset.

The program will be taught by top faculty members in PCSB’s program, providing a rapid, foundational education in business principles. It extends beyond the basics to help professionals synthesize and integrate ideas and information across a variety of business concepts – from accounting to finance to information technology to marketing. The ultimate objective is to introduce an interdisciplinary perspective to assist workers in making efficient administrative decisions.

Who Should Enroll??

High performing employees who have been promoted to administrative or management positions. The program serves as a refresher for those who wish to update their business skills or those considering pursuing a full-time MBA program in the future.
