Providence College School of Business MBA Program Ranked Among Nation’s Top Part-Time Business Programs
Providence, R.I. – The Providence College School of Business (PCSB) MBA program debuted at No. 67 in Bloomberg Businessweek’s U.S. Part-Time MBA Rankings for 2015, the magazine announced today.
Businessweek included 74 part-time MBA programs that met minimum criteria for ranking. PCSB’s MBA program ranked 67th in the alumni survey and 61st in the student survey in the program’s first year of participation.
“There are hundreds of part-time MBA programs,” said PCSB Dean Sylvia Maxfield. “We are thrilled that Bloomberg Businessweek has included us among the top 74 part-time programs in the country.”
Aligned with the PCSB’s overarching mission, the MBA program aims to provide students with a values-based business education that bolsters their knowledge and practical experience needed to be competitive in today’s workforce.
PCSB History
In July 2012, PCSB joined the elite rank of business schools in the nation with its accreditation by AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. PCSB offers undergraduate programs in Accountancy, Finance, Management, Marketing, and a graduate MBA program.
The curriculum, values-driven, is uniquely integrated with the liberal arts and grounded in the Catholic and Dominican traditions. Students not only learn subject matter, but develop different ways of thinking and discover new questions and ideas. For employers, that means PCSB graduates are ideally suited to today’s rapidly changing business environment.
