PROVIDENCE COLLEGE ANNOUNCES FIVE NEW TRUSTEES
(Providence, R.I.) – Providence College (PC) recently announced the unanimous election of five new members to its Board of Trustees.

Maura Hurley Chapey ’86, is a recently retired small business owner and lifestyle brand entrepreneur. Maura worked in merchandising for Liz Claiborne and Calvin Klein and as an engaged community volunteer, she has served in a variety of leadership and service roles including positions with school boards and youth sports teams, and has done volunteer work with Family & Children’s Agency of Norwalk, CT. She has also contributed to organizations such as Sharing to Learn, facilitating educational exchanges with South Africa; A Better Chance, supporting academic opportunities for students of color; and Bronx Lacrosse, which uses sports as a tool for academic and personal growth. She continues her commitment to advocacy and impact as a grant reviewer for Hilarity for Charity, a nonprofit focused on Alzheimer’s care and support. Maura has also served as a Providence College class agent. She earned her B.A. from Providence College and M.A. from Seton Hall University.

John M. Denson, Jr. ’89, ’19P, ’22P, ‘26P is a senior client partner at Korn Ferry International’s Stamford office where he has brought extensive health care and life sciences experience. John is also a member of the Healthcare Services Market, a member of the national board of overseers, and chair of the advisory board for PC’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences. John earned his bachelor’s degree from Providence College and M.A. in business administration from the University of Connecticut.

Paul Reid Galietto ’78, ’15P, a Trustee Emeritus, is the Global Head of Equities and a member of Credit Suisse’s Investment Bank Management Committee based in New York. Paul joined the Bank in 2017 and was Credit Suisse’s Global Head of Prime Services and Head of America Equities, previously. Prior to Credit Suisse, Paul spent five years with UBS, where he held the roles of Global Head of Prime Brokerage and Head of Equities in the Americas. Before that, Paul spent over twenty years with Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York and held senior management positions, including Global Head of Securities Financing and Services Division and Head of Non-Dollar Equity Sales and Trading. He served on the Advisory Board of The Guardian Funds and on the Board of Directors for the Key Employee Capital Appreciation Limited Partnership (KECALP). Paul attended The United States Military Academy at West Point, Harvard Business School Executive Development Program, and received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Providence College. (SIFMA).

Kathryn Bisegna Martz ’84 worked for over twenty years in the telecommunications industry for companies including MCI (now Verizon Business), Lumen Technologies, and T-Mobile. She held leadership and executive positions in sales, business operations, marketing, and organizational development. During the latter years of her career, Kathy joined Aramark Corporation, a Fortune 250 food and facilities service firm where she retired as enterprise-wide Vice President of Business Enablement. A native of Swampscott, MA, Kathy received a B.S. in Business Marketing from Providence College and an MBA from Boston University. While at PC, Kathy was the news editor of The Cowl, served as a Resident Assistant and was a member of the Friars Club. She is the past Board President of Mother of Mercy House, an inner-city Catholic mission. Additionally, Kathy is an active parishioner and lector at St. Bridget Church, a member of the Arts and Business Council for Greater Philadelphia and a volunteer at Penn Vet Working Dog Center. Kathy lives with her husband Joe in Philadelphia, PA.

Christopher M. Reilly ’95 is the managing partner of Private Equity at Kemnay Advisory Services Inc., where he has spent almost twenty years investing in the private equity and venture capital asset classes. Prior to Kemnay, Chris spent six years at Colorado PERA, the pension fund for the State of Colorado, where he most recently was the director of alternative investments and led the pension fund’s private equity, venture capital, and alternative investments program. Chris began his career at Salomon Smith Barney and Deutsche Bank. He earned a B.S. in Management from Providence College and an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship and Venture Management.
