CHRISTINE ROBERTI RETURNS TO PROVIDENCE COLLEGE AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, DECEMBER 15, 2020:  Providence College has announced the appointment of Christine Roberti ’01G, as special assistant to the president and executive vice president. Ms. Roberti, who served the College from 2008-2016 in several roles including director of media relations, has more than 20 years of combined professional experience in higher education, public affairs, broadcast journalism, and community and government relations. 


As special assistant, Ms. Roberti is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office, and for serving as liaison between the Office of the President/Executive Vice President and the College’s various internal and external constituencies. In her role as secretariat of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Roberti works closely with board leadership and the President’s Cabinet to provide oversight and coordination of board and committee meetings.  


Ms. Roberti received a master’s degree in education administration from Providence College and a bachelor’s degree in education, with a minor in communications, from the University of Rhode Island. She recently earned the Advanced Public Information Officer designation from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. 


Before returning to PC and joining the President’s Office, she was manager of public affairs for the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office in Florida.  She resides in North Providence.
