PROVIDENCE COLLEGE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (PCSB) CONTINUES RISE IN RANK AS ONE OF THE “TOP 50 BEST UNDERGRADUATE BUSINESS SCHOOLS”
(Providence, R.I.) – The Providence College School of Business (PCSB) has once again been ranked as one of the top 50 undergraduate business schools in the U.S. by Poets&Quants. PCSB has been steadily climbing in this ranking over the last several years and has earned its highest placement ever in the latest ranking to stand at #37, up from #40 in 2022, and #47 in 2021.
Poets&Quants uses a comprehensive ranking methodology that considers admission standards, academic excellence, and employment outcomes. Results are based on school-reported data and a survey of recent graduates.
“News of the PCSB’s continued rise in the Poets & Quants ranking is immensely gratifying, especially because the competition is stiffer every year,” said Sylvia Maxfield, Ph.D., PCSB dean. “Based heavily on anonymous student feedback and on job placements, this ranking validates how hard we work to support and challenge PCSB students in ways that yield meaningful college experiences and fulfilling careers.”
Founded in 1917, Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 4,100 students and offers degrees in 56 academic majors. Since 1997, Providence College consistently has been ranked among the top five regional universities in the North according to U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges.”
